Systems Analysis - Network Engineer

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITES

• Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
• Develop technical documentation, network/system architecture, and network/system design documentation
• Interact with the Government regarding Network Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts
• Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Network/Systems Engineering area of responsibility
• Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
• Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems
• Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
• Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers
• Work complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team
• Design and deliver solutions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 10+ Years of Experience
• Bachelor of Science (BS)  
• Top Secret / SCI with CI Poly
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IASAE Level II (One of the Following)
  • CASP+ CE
  • CISSP (or Associate)
  • CISSP
  • CISSP-ISSAP
  • CISSP-ISSEP
  • CCSP
  • CSSLP

Overview

We are seeking a Systems Analysis - Network to join our team supporting U.S. CYBERCOM in Ft Meade, Maryland.  

United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) is a unified Combatant Command whose mission is to plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and conduct activities to direct the operations and defense of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) and conduct full spectrum military cyberspace operations. Since its inception, USCYBERCOM’s mission has been rapidly evolving to effectively operate and defend the DODIN and to integrate and coordinate Department of Defense (DoD) Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO).

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $113,000 - $145,000.  The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
