The opportunity
EY is investing in the creation of cutting edge and disruptive security products that leverage Microsoft technologies and we are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Research consultant to help drive this initiative. You will join our team helping to develop and plan our strategy, support the development of our capabilities and operationalizing our offerings. In this role, you will also participate in key opportunities and engagements to provide leadership and support to help successfully deliver and grow our practice.
As a driven, results-oriented professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional service to our internal and external clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. This role will provide you with visibility and participation across all sectors, deal sizes, competencies, and offerings. The successful candidate will have a rare opportunity to see how the firm operates across all our service lines (Consulting, Tax, Assurance, Strategy and Transactions and industries.
Your key responsibilities:
You are key to our solution development/support, monitoring/reporting, program governance, and reporting to key stakeholders, including our executive.
Areas of focus include:
- Responsibility for the in-depth Cyber research into Cloud and AI that will differentiate EY
- Researching threats in Enterprise SaaS, Ransomware, Blue- Team/Red-Team and Cloud Threats
- Working closely with the Lead Architect to design EY security products and leverage AI as a key differentiator.
Skills and attributes for success
Technical knowledge - a solid understanding of various operating systems, databases, networks, and security frameworks is critical. Additionally, strong experience with various programming languages, especially those commonly used in scripting and automation, is necessary.
Threat intelligence - understand the methodologies of threat actors, be able to track and predict their moves, recognize their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and stay updated about the latest cyber threats around the world.
Analytical thinking – possess the ability to critically analyze security systems, potential threats, and vulnerabilities. It also includes staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, standards, and regulations in cybersecurity.
To qualify for the role, you must have;
- Proven experience with the Microsoft Technology Stack: Azure, M365, Dynamics, Purview. Priva, Entra, Defender & Sentinel
- Minimum of 5 years of Cybersecurity experience
- Excellent collaboration and presentation skills, and the confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Professional services firm experience
- Team leadership experience
- Being bilingual (English & French) would be an asset
- Cloud or Microsoft Certifications
- Cybersecurity certifications
