We are looking for a Property Operations Technology Cyber Specialist. Working alongside our highly skilled IT team of solution architects and cyber specialists, you’ll provide the expertise needed to address the unique challenges of applying IT processes to Operational Technology environments. In this role you will play a critical role in ensuring the secure integration and operation of OT systems across our portfolio. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the cybersecurity program by leveraging your deep understanding of building systems (BMS, Energy Management, CCTV, Access Control, etc.) and industry-standard protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and others. 

  • Identifying and addressing system vulnerabilities and gaps in OT and IT integration. 

  • Design and implement robust security solutions tailored to Operational Technology environments, including Smart Building systems and IoT devices. 

  • Maintain policies, standards, and procedures to align with industry regulations and Lendlease requirements. 

  • Perform risk assessments and audits of OT systems. 

  • Evaluate and optimize siloed unmanaged networks to improve performance and integrate them into secure and manageable frameworks. 

  • Support security strategies for Integrated Communications Networks (ICN) to enhance reliability and safeguard critical OT systems. 

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies for any OT-related security incidents. 


About you: 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of expertise in cyber security operations, architecture, governance, network security, and system management, preferably specific to Operational Technology environments, but IT/Enterprise experience/background is also desirable You will also have: 

  • Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or CISM. 

  • Experience working within the Australian regulatory environment, including ASD Essential Eight and Critical Infrastructure guidelines. 

  • Knowledge of emerging IoT and smart building technologies. 

 

Please note this role requires baseline security clearance, which requires you to be an Australian Citizen.
