WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The Security Design Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning, design, and implementation of security systems and processes across a project, ensuring that all security measures are implemented effectively and meet established standards, while collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate risks and achieve project goals within budget and timelines. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of security systems and protocols across a project
  • Design security systems and architectures, including access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and network security measures, aligning with project requirements and compliance standards
  • Lead the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, including defining project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation
  • Evaluate and manage security vendors, ensuring the quality and compliance of security equipment and services
  • Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats, then develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies
  • Create detailed security design documents, project reports, and presentations to communicate security plans and progress to stakeholders
  • Ensure project adherence to relevant security regulations and industry standards
  • Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches or vulnerabilities during project implementation.

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Strong understanding of security technologies including access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, network security, and cybersecurity principles.
  •  Proven experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure within budget and deadlines.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and prioritize security risks.
  • Familiarity with relevant security regulations and industry standards
  •  Excellent communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ability to lead and manage security design teams and projects 
  • Able to travel up to 20% for site visits within the US
