- Monitoring systems for signs of intrusion or unusual activity
- Investigating incidents and providing recommendations for prevention in future
- Play the ethical hacker role
- Routinely conduct penetration testing
- Generate reports and assist in audits
- Pen test web applications and infrastructure/cloud layer
- Work along with Architecture and Infosec team to perform threat modeling and vendor security assessments
- Analyze 1st party and 3rd party code CVEs and provide fix guidance
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and methodologies
- Fundamental Computer Forensics Skills
- Fundamentals of cloud (AWS/Azure) platforms and cloud workloads
- Basic pen testing skills using open source tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Javascript, Python, Shell
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think critically and identify risks.
- Good communication skills.
- Threat hunting skills in unix and windows cloud workloads
- Basic hands-on Kubernetes experience
- Basic hands-on unix/linux experience
- 6 mos-1 year experience in cyber security methodologies
- OWASP, CVE analysis and CWE
- Threat hunting or pen testing
- Tools: Burp suite, sqlmap, Web application firewall
- Java and Python coding experience
- AWS or Azure or any cloud workload experience
- Linux/unix
- Basic kubernetes experience
- SQL coding experience
- Javascript coding experience
- SCA and SAST report analysis
