We are looking for a Sales Engineer-DACH with a proven track record to join our EMEA sales team. As a Sales Engineer (SE), you will report to the VP of Sales Engineering and will be a strategic member of our team working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success.

In this role, you will be working with Fortune 500 companies and will actively drive and manage the technical positioning and evaluation phases in the sales process. Your main goal is to understand customer’s pain points and help them achieve the business outcomes based on your experience and Hunters’ capabilities.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience in cybersecurity. You must be able to articulate technology in both technical and non-technical terms. You should be able to have strategic conversations with C-level executives as well as perform technical deep dives with operational engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in customer discovery calls with your sales counterpart
  • Ask great questions to understand customer’s environment and challenges
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations based on customer needs
  • Help qualify sales opportunities and undertake POCs
  • Create mutual outcome plans to ensure success of the POCs
  • Lead the technical evaluation phase and help customers setup Hunters
  • Present Hunters findings to customers to drive value
  • Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams
  • Perform periodic health checks on existing customers
  • Participate in webinars, field events and conferences
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Deep understanding of business issues related to cyber security and ability to articulate why a differentiated approach works
  • Ability to articulate the business value to a partner 
  • Willing to travel to build a quality business pipeline focusing on developing opportunities through partners. 
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales goals and track record of partner retention and cross-functional alignment.
  • Proficient using SFDC
  • Solid presentation skills both in person and over video
  • Good teaming and collaboration habits

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience
