Group Security (GS), Security Architecture and Solution (SAS) Team is seeking a highly motivated Lead Solution Analysis & Advisory. 

The selected candidate will manage the team responsible security solution definition, security solution delivery and security solution analysis & advisory. 

This Solution Analysis & Advisory team:

  • stays abreast of (new) security solutions & technologies to assure that Nokia’s exposure to (new) security threats & compliance risks remain at acceptable levels. 
  • is instrumental for the recommendation to evolve & refine Nokia’s cyber security architecture and cyber security controls framework.
  • is responsible for the security solution & risk assessment portfolio to support new solutions being introduced into Nokia’s corporate environment.

This function will assume following responsibilities: 

  1. Day-to-day people & team management of a group of professional & talented security specialists and analysts.
  2. Establish & work in close relationship with all other SAS sub-teams to understand the security & compliance risk priorities that must be addressed by means of new and/or evolving security technology solutions and further reduce the security & compliance risks.
  3. Work together with cross-functional teams (peers, other corporate functions and business groups) to understand & address their security priorities & requirements.
  4. Establish & maintain strong relationships with SAS’ strategic security partners (Microsoft, Google, Zscaler, ServiceNow, NGPcap, etc.) to understand their end-to-end security solution portfolio and how to evolve Nokia’s security reference architecture & controls framework.
  5. Establish & maintain strong relationships with SAS’ market intelligence partners (ISF, IANS, Gartner, etc.) to be able to understand and lever the latest security trends, threats, vulnerabilities and regulatory changes and translate those into tangible impact assessments and action plans on how to address those.
  6. Provide educated opinions by researching & analyzing technical and security information using various information sources, such as: webinars, newsletter, publications, etc.
  7. Translate all these (emerging) security trends, threats, vulnerabilities and regulatory changes into well-founded & innovative security solutions to keep evolving & hardening Nokia’s security reference architecture as well as security controls framework.
  8. Provide technical & business expertise to IT and business teams to support Business & Digital Transformation initiatives during vendor selection and during contract execution.  This activity encompasses: security policy compliance assurance, security controls compliance assurance, security solution delivery & integration during transition & transformation, security operations compliance assurance, etc. 
  9. Drive the portfolio and assure agile delivery of SAS’ security solution assessments, such as: security risk assessment profile, solution threat modeling, firewall port opening requests & recertification, new application assessment, web application scans, etc.
  10. Act as prime interface for your stakeholders by driving the end-to-end risk assessment process and creating an integrated and comprehensive view for ongoing security & compliance risk assessments during the full project delivery process.

Key Tasks for Lead Solution Analysis & Advisory:

The following tasks are key activities for the selected candidate:

  • Lead, coach & grow your team members and act as anchor point for team related activities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to security solutions and security solution assessment portfolio.
  • Interact with SAS peers, Group Security and Nokia stakeholders and demonstrate thought leadership on how to evolve Nokia’s security reference architecture, security control framework, security solution assessment portfolio and security risk and compliance posture.
  • Perform stakeholder management & provide regular guidance on SAS’ technical cyber security strategy, roadmap and priorities.
  • Constantly challenge the status quo by exploring new, better and more efficient ways of working.

Knowledge & Experience

  • ~10-years of experience & track record in leading, coaching & growing security experts.
  • Strong servant leadership skills to manage & drive cross-functional teams/ projects.
  • Display strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels; build and leverage relationships with peers in a global team-oriented fashion.
  • Proactive & creative style and working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (using business English) to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences throughout Nokia's organization.
  • Display excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Combine technical expertise with a business-mindset and able to discuss, advise and conclude topics at various levels of the organization (up to the senior leadership teams).
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), threat assessment, and risk management methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret industry security publications, laws, and regulations and translate those to align Nokia’s policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer is a plus.
