As an IT Asset SME within the Cyber Architecture team, you will own the set of requirements across Protect, Detect, Identify and Respond for IT in our Environments and maintain a list of tactical fixes to cyber-related challenges. You will be exposed to a broad and challenging range of needs and opportunities requiring you to engage closely with stakeholders across Technology within Maersk and Cyber as you work to ensure our security capabilities are extended to cover these Assets. About the role
You’ll be responsible for Authentication, Authorization, and auditing of identities within Maersk’s IT estate. You’ll be providing subject matter expertise on Identity and Access Management. You will have a deep understanding of Authentication and Authorization protocols, PKI, Active Directory, Entra ID, Privileged Access Management, and more, so you can make informed decisions about the best security requirements for Identity within Maersk.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining a coherent set of requirements for Identity & Access Management linked to OP1/OP2 priorities.
- Maintain awareness of security challenges faced within Identity via Front of House function, Environment leads and by keeping Capability teams updated on existing challenges or upcoming asks.
- Collaborating with cross-functional Cyber Capability teams to design and implement security measures that meet IAM needs. Occasionally forming part of the Capability Scrum teams working with agreed architectures, blueprints, and standards.
- Function as the “Zero Trust” champion for IAM working with the Cyber Architects and Capability teams on ways to best apply Zero Trust principles to IAM.
- Be familiar with the planning, estimating, and execution of solutions, budgets, and quality targets. The individual will support initiative definition, t-shirt sizing, and complexity estimation for cyber remediation plans.
- Assisting in post-implementation support and backlog refinement of items related to IAM.
- Working with the Front of House teams, you will own the risk mitigation plan for Identity and influence Capability roadmaps to ensure the required solutions are prioritized where possible.
- You will also support Capability teams to define tactical fixes for Identity-related challenges.
- Continuously improving the Identity’s security posture through regular assessments and recommendations of Security best practices.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you can offer
- SME (Subject Matter Expert) knowledge of the Asset area, good stakeholder engagement skills and existing relationships with key business and technical senior stakeholders in their environment
- A deep understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID
- One of more Microsoft certifications
- Ability to link Asset requirements to existing Cyber tooling and capabilities or recommendations of cost-effective solutions.
- Trusted Cyber advisor to Portfolio owners and Cyber Capability teams for security in the associated Asset.
- Ability to Influence without authority, working with Capability teams to ensure appropriate secure solutions are developed and risks related to the Asset are mitigated without becoming a blocker to the development process.
- Experience with the application of Cyber Security within DevSecOps, with a good understanding of customer-centric design principles.
- Ability to drive process teams to understand reporting situation, explores options and come to consensus on preferred solution.
- Able to explain complex ideas in a concise manner.
- Ability to work with offshore stakeholders.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.
