About the Role

Leads a team of cybersecurity experts within TD SYNNEX´s Global Cybersecurity team. Responsible for the implementation of security policies, standards and procedures. Acts as a Service Delivery Manager (SDM) for the operational services delivered by the department. Provides leadership, coordination and operations planning to accomplish the defined goals and objectives. Maintains the security platform of tools and processes. Monitors effectiveness of controls. Collaborates with peer and senior management in IT and in the business to reduce risk to the company an to continuously improve security services. Educates TD SYNNEX colleagues and business partners on cybersecurity best practices. Oversees regulatory and policy compliance. 

What You'll Do

  • IT Security goals alignment, strategy definition, planning and project implementation (20%)

  • Leadership role for the department's colleagues (20%)

  • Accountable for security service delivery (20%)

  • Lifecycle management and continuous improvement for all security tools and technologies (10%)

  • Business and IT Executive alignment including crisis management and KPI reporting (10%)

  • Oversee security incident and problem management processes (10%)

  • Accountable for audit and assurance testing for controls health, regulatory and policy compliance (10%)

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree with IT   field of study required.

  • 10 to 15 Years of relevant work experience.

  • 5 to 8 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

  • Other Education / Certifications: solid selection of security management and technical certifications and/or equivalent proven work experience

  • Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and local language.

  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.

  • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management

  • Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.

  • Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.

  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.

  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.

  • Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.

  • Able to use relevant computer system applications at an advanced level.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • On-call availability required as necessary.
