The Role
We are looking for a Consumer Protection Compliance Program Manager to join Cash App and support the consumer protection program. This role is part of the Cash App Compliance team, and will report to the Consumer Protection Compliance Program Lead. You will oversee systems, processes, and controls that support compliance with laws, rules, and regulations surrounding Cash App’s consumer protection program. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with cross-functional stakeholders responsible for maintaining an effective and compliant consumer protection program.
You Will
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to evaluate and review customer facing content for effective and compliant processes
- Identifying key trends in Complaints and Inquiries uncovering potential emerging risks posed to customers
- Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators and business partners
- Manage any consumer protection remediation plans
- Develop and deliver training programs to raise employee awareness of consumer protection
- Provide actionable insights to support drafting action plans as a result of examinations, audits, or internal testing
- Maintain an understanding of Cash App products and features and applicable consumer protection compliance requirements
- Collaborate with the first line colleagues to identify emerging consumer protection risks and assist with implementation of mitigating control
You Have
- 5+ years in a compliance role supporting a consumer protection program within the financial services industry
- Knowledge of and expertise with consumer protection rules and regulations, including those maintained and enforced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Federal Trade Commission and/or other U.S. federal and state consumer protection regulatory agencies
- A metrics-driven approach to create compliant, customer focused solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize observations and present in a clear, concise manner to senior management
- Ability to prioritize across competing deadlines and influence cross-functionally
- Relevant industry certification a plus, such as CAMS, CFCS, CFE, or CRCM

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
