About the Role: As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our organization’s IT infrastructure. From managing networks and servers to troubleshooting technical issues and implementing security measures, your expertise will ensure that our systems remain reliable, efficient, and secure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to strategic IT initiatives, and play a key role in supporting our mission.


What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, servers, and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime to maintain reliability.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure system security and functionality.
  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
  • Respond promptly to helpdesk requests, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Manage and secure internal and external networks, safeguarding sensitive data.
  • Implement and enforce security policies to prevent unauthorized access and protect data.
  • Conduct system backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure data restoration readiness.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, setups, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with teams to align IT systems with operational goals and future needs.

  • Starting salary for this position is $68,024 - $81,628 per year. In compliance with the Equal Pay & Opportunities act, the full salary range for this position is $68,024 - $104,756 per year.
  • Full-time, exempt position. May be required to work a few hours on weekends and holidays when needed.
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance for the employee only.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration or IT Systems Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, security, backup systems and disaster recovery plans. 
  • Proficiency in managing Windows/Linux operating systems and database applications.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, LPIC, CISSP, CEH (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support non-technical staff.
