Leidos Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) Team is searching for an Associate Global Security Analyst. The position requires managing multiple responsibilities at one time. Areas of focus include tracking and assessing CONUS and OCONUS active and potential disasters from the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) at Reston Global Headquarters. This includes utilizing both inhouse intelligence subscriptions as well as the review and interpret OSINT threat data to determine potential immediate and/or longer-term impacts to Leidos employees, facilities, and physical assets. This role requires experience in crisis management, emergency preparedness, or other similar background. The candidate must be skilled at drafting summary reports for the purposes of messaging to Leidos Group/Functional leaders as well as preparedness and advisory messaging for employees in areas of potential threat impact. During crises preparation and/or response, this position may require longer or weekend working hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Daily responsibilities include contributing to the Crisis and Emergency Management (CEM) Team workflow and responsibilities as well as contributing to global threat and disaster monitoring, assessing, and crisis response initiation 
•Participating in the review, organization, planning and performance of disaster exercises; this includes both CEM Team and cross functional playbook exercises, (e.g., active shooter, tornado impact response, and hurricane response, etc.). 
•Ability to fully utilize all aspects of the CEM team’s global threat and asset management platform powered by Everbridge including the visualization tool and all its capabilities, as well as the mass notification tool, templates and means of accurately launching messaging to the appropriate stakeholders 
•Facilitate drafting and dissemination of priority reports for corporate leadership
•Coordinating logistics for CEM platform accesses.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience however relevant platform experience could substitute for degree
•Works independently under limited supervision
•Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the work area/project team
•Manage  issues and require practical knowledge of discipline and industry practices/standards
•Demonstrated ability to research and summarize data from CEM platforms as well as OSINT threat, disaster, news and scientific resources, and other relevant crisis and emergency management tools for the purposes of preparing for potential global threat impacts.
•Full command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Outlook)
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to extend work hours in times of incident impact preparations, mitigations, response, etc.
•Ability to complete multiple tasks, simultaneously under pressure with very tight deadlines
•Detail-oriented, creative thinker with the ability to strategize and solve complex problems

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 
•In-depth working knowledge of the Everbridge platform, specifically Everbridge Suite and Visual Command Center 
•Working knowledge of Dataminr platform
•Experience interacting with corporate leaders and colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other professional resources, etc.).
•Knowledge of the National Incident Management System, the National Response Framework, Incident Command System
•Experience as security/site liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement and first responders

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
