Senior Analyst - Managed Security Services

Job Description

• Oversee L1 and L2 analysts, providing leadership and guidance, and ensure consistent performance improvements across the team
• Handle escalations for high-priority incidents and perform in-depth analyses to determine root causes and remediation strategies
• Fine-tune security tools and processes, ensuring the SOCs efficiency and alignment with client's operational requirements
• Lead efforts to improve threat detection capabilities, implement proactive security measures, and conduct regular reviews to identify opportunities for optimization
• Act as the main point of escalation, mentor for the team, and key driver for operational excellence in the project

Person Specification 

• Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in a security-related role
• Bachelors degree in Cyber Security, IT or related field
• Extensive expertise in managing SOC operations and advanced cybersecurity skills
• CPIA,BTLO,CEH/CHFI, ECSA or relevant Security Analyst Training / Certification
• Understanding of Security technologies of on premise and cloud infrastructure
• Scripting and automation (Python, Shell etc.)
• The ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and emerging threats, coupled with critical thinking skills to identify and address security risks effectively
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage effectively across various levels of management, staff and clients
