Principal Advisory Director- IT Security

Position Purpose:

The Principal Research Advisor (IT Security Focus) at Info-Tech will provide expert guidance and insights to IT leaders in the Asia-Pacific region, helping organizations improve their InfoSec and cybersecurity services. This role involves leading advisory calls, facilitating workshops, and delivering high-quality research and advisory services. The Advisor will collaborate across departments, contribute to research, and support client-facing initiatives. They will use industry knowledge to address client challenges and support the development of security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead advisory calls with clients, offering tailored research and guidance on InfoSec and cybersecurity challenges.
• Facilitate workshops, scoping objectives, and delivering actionable results to clients.
• Collaborate across teams, contributing to research, sales, and marketing efforts, and delivering presentations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and develop research topics related to cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree (business or technology preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in InfoSec and cybersecurity, with expertise in security operations, architecture, and technologies.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CIPP, CISM, etc.) and leadership experience in security, risk, or compliance.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills, with a history of building trusted advisor relationships.
