*Pay Range: $24.04 - $26.92 USD hourly

The Security Analyst, Associate embodies a position with a basic understanding of networking and security fundamentals across hybrid environments.  The Security Analyst is a person who is eager to demonstrate their cyber security-related skills.

MAIN DUTIES:
The Security Analyst, Associate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of our cybersecurity program. They will be an integral part of the cybersecurity team at CO3/Method supporting vulnerability management and incident response activities. They will conduct security assessments, identify, analyze and mitigate security incidents, and identify gaps in current security posture and recommend improvements. They will also be responsible for the following:
  • Maintain technical documentation related to incident response and vulnerability scans
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams across business units to maintain enterprise security
  • Conduct ethical hacking attempts to identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls, automation, and monitoring tools to ensure secure and efficient software delivery
  • Participate in the management of security operations tools, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of these tools
  • Track and document security incidents within the case management tool
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will have an educational background or prior work experience in a related field, understand security concepts, demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best-practices, and experience with cybersecurity tools (Microsoft Defender, Tenable), Security Information and Event Management Systems (SIEM), and security scanning tools. Additional desired skills include:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate with users of varying technical knowledge
  • Coding and Automation experience is a plus
