Cybersecurity Engineer - Automotive Field Sede di lavoro: 20121, Mailand

Activities:

  • Develop and implement security architectures for automotive or IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations;
  • Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments (TARA) in line with ISO/SAE 21434 guidelines;
  • Ensure compliance with automotive cybersecurity regulations throughout the product lifecycle;
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate robust security measures in vehicle systems or IT infrastructures;
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of embedded systems or IT networks;
  • Develop and maintain documentation on cybersecurity practices, processes, and compliance reports;
  • Participate in incident response and coordinate actions to mitigate cybersecurity breaches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, or related fields;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably in the automotive or IT sectors;
  • Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO/SAE 21434;
  • Familiarity with IT security frameworks, including ISO 27001NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and GDPR for data protection;
  • Knowledge automotive Ethernet, CAN bus, and over-the-air (OTA) update;
  • Proficiency in embedded systems and secure coding practices;
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Nice to have: certifications such as CISSPCEH, or GICSP are highly desirable;
  • Nice to have: knowledge of functional safety standards like ISO 26262.
