JOB DESCRIPTION

Critical Solutions has an immediate need for a NetOps Specialist - Senior. The Senior Network Operations Specialist will be responsible for performing enterprise network operations and engineering support for a broad range of programs. This will include planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the Agency's network on the program.

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of Network Operations
• Planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the organization network on the program.
• Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues
• Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies
• Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics
• Assist the Cyber Team employ approved defense-in-depth principles and practices (e.g., defense-in-multiple places, layered defenses, and security robustness). Assist with the collection of intrusion artifacts (e.g., source code, malware, and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential computer network defense (CND) incidents within the enterprise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• US Citizen and active DoD Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• 8+ years of prior relevant experience
• Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III certification,
• Must possess all of the following certifications: Security+, CCNA and CASP

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CISCO certifications
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).

Clearance Requirement: Must be a US Citizen and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. In addition, selected candidate must undergo background investigation (BI) and finger printing by the federal agency and successfully pass the preceding to qualify for the position. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

CRITICAL SOLUTIONS PAY AND BENEFITS:

Salary range $80,000 - $102,000. The salary range for this position represent the typical salary range for this job level and this does not guarantee a specific salary. Compensation is based upon multiple factors such as responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, certifications, and other requirements.
