Job Description:

As the Governance lead for the Technology Risk organization, you will be responsible for managing committee oversight and policy and procedure documentation to ensure the efficient and effective technology risk governance.  Increasing levels of regulatory requirements demand additional risk management rigor, and we must implement highly resilient, reliable, and effective solutions that meet and in some cases exceed performance standards found in other information rich industries.  You will provide leadership and support for Technology Risk initiatives across the business and advocate for best governance practices, while incorporating an independent oversight lens.  You will utilize risk-based management to integrate information and technology risk processes into the way AT&T operates.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Technology Risk, you will be responsible for supporting the design, build, implementation, and operation of leading technology risk governance practices. You will ensure that AT&T has established proper oversight, authority, accountability, and escalation paths in the organization to ensure efficient and effective technology risk governance. This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own technology risk governance capabilities in accordance with the Technology Risk Program, including Technology Risk committee/working group governance, Technology Risk policy and standard governance, Technology Risk program documentation and technology policy and standard advisory

  • Integrate technology risk governance into Technology Risk management programs and supported by GRC solutions

  • Drive the development and management of Technology Risk governance key performance indicators

  • Implement recurring reporting to inform executive leadership of risk exposure as well as performance of technology controls and risk management programs

  • Implement technology risk policy monitoring and enforcement capabilities

  • Support the design, build, and ongoing execution of governance forums, including executive materials gathering, meeting facilitation, action item tracking, and meeting minutes documentation

  • Support Technology Risk teams in advising the organization on governance best practices / expectations

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

  • 5+ years of work experience in risk governance at a global company.

  • Advanced skills in Policy governance, Committee governance, Executive communication, MS PowerPoint for executive audiences and Project Management required

  • Policy, standard, and procedure documentation also required

  • Knowledge of information and technology risk management policies, methods, standards, frameworks, tools, and processes (e.g. COBIT, NIST, ITIL) as well as knowledge of compliance, legal, internal / external audit & regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI)

  • Adept at creating structure from ambiguity to deliver repeatable and sustainable results

  • Effective at navigating large corporations and governance structure

  • Requires Daily Office Presence at one of the listed locations. No relocation assistance is provided.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multiple industry risk, control and governance disciplines (e.g. Audit, Information Security, Regulatory Compliance)

  • Experience with the following technologies:

    • ServiceNow GRC capabilities (e.g., Integrated Risk Management)

    • Microsoft Power BI for risk data visualization and dashboarding

  • Advanced degree

Our Lead Cybersecurity, earns between $128,400.00-$215,800.00 USD Annual; not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
