Roles & Responsibilities

As an Azure Security Architect, you will guide clients through their cloud security transformation journey and optimization. Using your expertise in cloud security technologies and consulting experience, you will design and deliver innovative security solutions addressing clients' unique business challenges while ensuring data and systems integrity and protection.

• Cloud Security Strategy Consulting: Collaborate with clients to assess their current IT security landscape, understand their security business goals, and develop tailored cloud security strategies that align with their objectives.
• Security Architectural Design and Planning: Design scalable and resilient cloud security architectures that leverage best practices and align with industry standards, ensuring security, compliance, and performance.
• Security Implementation: Lead the planning and execution of cloud security projects, providing guidance on risk assessment, threat mitigation, and security policies to minimize vulnerabilities and safeguard data.
• Cloud Security Optimization and Management: Identify opportunities to enhance cloud security measures and improve cost efficiency through continuous monitoring, threat detection, and implementing best practices.
• Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on cloud security architecture and technology trends.
• Solution Development and Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concepts, prototypes, and production-ready security solutions that demonstrate the value of cloud security technologies to our clients.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging cloud security technologies, trends, and best practices, and proactively share knowledge and insights with internal teams and clients.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security and cloud security architecture (preferably Microsoft technologies)
• Proven experience in cloud security architecture design and implementation, preferably in a consulting or advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid and on-premises cloud security solutions, with expertise in Microsoft Azure.
• Certification in Microsoft Azure Security (Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) and/or Microsoft Azure Infrastructure.
• Excellent consulting and client-facing skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to deliver high-quality security solutions on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in Dutch or French and English.
• Optional; Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security solutions
