Job Description

As ALDI continues its growth journey, we’re committed to safeguarding our future through innovative security strategies. We're seeking a talented  IT Security Specialist (Business Continuity Management) within our National IT department of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury. This is a permanent full-time position

As a BCM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational resilience. In these newly created positions, you will oversee the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) processes, reconcile BCM risks with key frameworks, and drive the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCP). This position will also be responsible for awareness initiatives. You will have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of business continuity principles. Work alongside a dynamic, supportive team in a role that bridges IT security and business continuity.

What does the role look like?

  • Oversee the implementation of the global BCP plans within Australia
  • Reconciliation of BCM risks with interfaces such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) and Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Planning, coordinating and reviewing global BIA processes
  • Supporting ALDI business units in planning their annual global BCM tests and exercises
  • Assist in planning and preparing awareness initiatives related to BCM
  • Creation of global BCM training documents for the business continuity coordinators at ALDI

Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST) and their application in a corporate environment highly regarded
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex technical environments and identify potential vulnerabilities
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $110,800 - 132,200 including Superannuation
