Job Description
Overview:
The Senior Program Manager, Threat Detection and Technology oversees the implementation, management, and enhancement of our global security systems and technologies. This role is critical to help ensure the safety and security of our employees, visitors, business operations, offices, and assets. This is a key leadership role, reporting to the Sr. Director of Safety, Security and Resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of global physical security technology strategy to align with business objectives.
- Coach and mentor a team of globally distributed staff to successfully achieve goals while providing strategic leadership and partnership to stakeholders.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management technologies.
- Lead security technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Conduct regular assessments of security technology effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement based on emerging threats and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of security systems, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to physical security technology.
- Develop and conduct training programs for employees on security technologies and protocols to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Collaborate with the security operations team to respond to security incidents, ensuring effective use of technology in investigations and reporting.
- Manage global budgets and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise access control, badging and credential technology, video surveillance, visitor management, high security intrusion detection, and physical security networking in a global environment.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, security management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience in technical program management and new project deployment.
- At least 5+ years of successfully managing a globally distributed team.
- Excellent strategy and planning, with the ability to lead through teamwork and communications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with current and emerging electronic security technology in the areas of networked and cloud-based solutions, AI/ML applications, and high assurance authentication.
- Ability to take initiative and be creative, with excellent technical, communications, and program management skills.
- Ability to guide others to deliver outstanding results in a timely manner, with a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to take a data-driven, analytical approach towards solving complex challenges.
