Job Description

What You’ll Get To Do:

Be part of a small, agile scrum team responsible for the deployment and management of a private high-performance compute (HPC) system.  This team is part of a multi-team agile release train that develops and deploys applications supporting space domain awareness.

  • Create and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using ansible, chef, or similar tools
  • Leverage OpenStack and Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment
  • Create and maintain automated DevSecOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Cucumber, JMeter, and Cypress.io
  • Monitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications

You’ll apply your skills within a DevSecOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions. Further your skills and explore different ways of solving our client's challenges. Whether helping to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components, here, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI polygraph
  • 6+ years of experience with virtualization platforms
  • 6+ years of experience with deployment automation languages and tools, such as chef, ansible, puppet, or terraform
  • 6+ years of experience leveraging Open Source DevSecOps tools that scan, build, deploy, and test computer applications – such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Claire, Fortify, Cucumber, jMeter, Cypress.io, or Selenium
  • 5+ years of Linux System Admin experience, including software installation, configuration, and integration
  • Experience with physical compute and networking hardware
  • Experience with production enterprise application support

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, leveraging virtual machines and/or containerization Experience with writing automated scripts using various languages, including Python, Bash, or Ansible
  • Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks, such as cucumber, cypress.io, or selenium
  • Experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
  • Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
  • Experience with triaging and resolving issues related to open source and commercial tools in private cloud environments
  • Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification (Security+, CISSP)

To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$107,000.00 - $229,000.00 annually.
