Job Description:
· Position is for a Cybersecurity Engineer II to help support a contractor team in providing program management assistance, shipboard technical and repair assistance, work product tracking, engineering technical analysis, data collection and analysis, metrics, development and testing support, engineering development models, and logistic product development for Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia, Code 23.
Specific duties for the Cybersecurity Engineer include:
· Assisting with the implementation of NAVSEAINST 9400.2-M, NIST SP 800-53, and DODI 8500.01
· Implementing the RMF process on industrial controls systems for use on Navy Aircraft Carriers.
· Providing cybersecurity support as necessary for mechanical/electrical system design, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of Aircraft Carrier equipment or systems.
Required Skilled and Experience:
· Five (5) years of experience with U.S. Navy systems, including mechanical/electrical system design, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of Aircraft Carrier equipment or systems.
· Two (2) years of cybersecurity experience with a demonstrated knowledge of NAVSEAINST 9400.2-M, NIST SP 800-53, and DODI 8500.01
· Two (2) years of experience managing projects for DoD customers.
· One (1) year of experience implementing the RMF process on industrial controls systems.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited university.
· Must be a U.S. citizen.
· A secret security clearance
