About the role:

Aviatrix is a leader in multi-cloud networking, enabling enterprises to simplify operations, enhance security, and optimize costs. As a Product Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cutting-edge products. You will review the design, architecture, and implementation of security solutions for our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will embed security into every stage of product development while staying ahead of evolving threats and industry best practices. This mid-level role provides an opportunity to drive security innovation in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment. 

Position Responsibilities:

1) Review the design, architecture, and implementation of Aviatrix products to ensure adherence to the highest security standards. 

2) Conduct vulnerability scanning using multiple tools, automate result aggregation, triage findings, and provide customers with clear guidance and effective mitigation strategies to address security concerns, particularly related to CVEs and vulnerability management. 

3) Collaborate with engineering, product management, and DevOps teams to integrate security into all stages of the product development lifecycle. 

4) Conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations. 

5) Ensure compliance with security and privacy best practices, including OWASP Top 10, GDPR, and evolving cryptographic standards. 

6) Research and stay updated on the latest security trends, tools, and vulnerabilities to proactively protect Aviatrix products. 

Requirements:

1) Proven experience in product or application security engineering with a focus on secure design and implementation. 

2) Proficiency in one or more programming languages: TypeScript, Python, GoLang, Java, or C/C++. 

3) Deep understanding of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and secure communication practices. 

4) Extensive experience in threat modeling, secure code reviews, and penetration testing.

5) Strong knowledge of security practices in one or more cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

6) Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards, including OWASP Top 10 and cryptographic guidelines.

7) Relevant certifications such as OSCP or OSWE are highly desirable.

Your total compensation package will be based on job-related knowledge, education, certifications and location, per our aligned ranges.
