Cyber Security SME

As a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert at Alpiq, you will be emersed in the growing areas of Governance, Risk and Compliance which will cover strategic technical areas like Cloud Security Posture and Governance, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Threat Management, Incident Response and Secure Software Development LifeCycle. You will have a daily reporting structure to the Security Operations Manager but will also work closely with the CISO to address compliance concerns and key metrics.

Your Accountabilities:

• Capability to address security concerns across all of the Alpiq Digital Landscape (Cloud, on-prem and OT). You will have the opportunity, with support of the Security Operations Manager, to monitor and influence change to improve the overall security posture as well as to validate the current control are implemented as expected. 
• Analysis, tracking and reporting information system vulnerabilities and working with system stakeholders for remediation. Vulnerabilities will be traced via the Risk management Framework and reviewed regularly. 
• Develop the CISO dashboard to provide near real-time information about Risks in the organization.
• Being part of an new initiative for Secure Softwared Development. For this activity, you will make sure that the outputs of the SSDLC process meet best practices and are secure upon delivery.

 Your profile:

• Bachelor degree in IT, Cyber security or equivalent 
• Industry Certifications like CISSP or equivalent or willing to complete it
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as Cybersecurity Professional
• Excellent IT expertise and passion for complex systems, technologies and processes 
• Continuous Improvement mindset and project/change management experience
• Excellent communication, cross departments cooperation and influencing skills 
• Fluent English required, additional French or German a plus
