Assist with providing a secure and protected environment for the company’s data and systems by detecting and responding to security risks, collaborating cross-functionally to evaluate and define security controls, and assist with data privacy and compliance processes.
  • Assist in defining and maintaining corporate security standards, processes, policies, and strategies.
  • Monitor and assist with administering various IT security systems, such as vulnerability scanning, modifying access control lists, tuning SIEM alerts, and other security tools.
  • Analyze logs, reports, and alerts daily to identify security events or abnormal behavior.
  • Perform research and incident response on security events and threats identified within the global network platforms; work with next level support and other teams to contain/isolate the threat.
  • Assist with defining and maintaining security reporting processes, including real-time incident response logging.
  • Assist with creating and running periodic reports which summarize our global IT platforms’ security/risk health.
  • Assist in implementing, maintaining, and auditing security processes and procedures required for compliance purposes, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Assist with creating, executing, and evaluating security awareness training.
  • Interact in a cross-team capacity to meet customer and organizational needs.
  • Provide production support/troubleshooting for all environments and instances.
  • Participates and supports disaster recovery initiatives and change management standards and procedures.
  • Participate in 24-hour on call support, including evenings and weekends.
  • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT security, data privacy/compliance, or IT risk management (2-3 years a plus).
  • Industry certifications a plus (i.e. Security+, CCNA Security, etc).
  • Network or system administration experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge of endpoint, application, and network security.
  • 1-3 years of experience with PCI-DSS processes, procedures, and audits.
  • Experience with data privacy and compliance, such as GDPR, a plus.
  • Able to manage small projects on their own and medium to large projects with assistance.
  • Customer service oriented, team player, results driven.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to operate independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions

Salary Minimum

$70,095.24

Salary Maximum

$92,000.00
