What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of IT Security Analysts and Engineers across the globe covering multiple brands in efforts of threat hunting, detection and remediation
  • Responsible for the management and enhancement of the 3rd party Security Operation Center
  • Responsible for the tracking, monitoring and reporting of security events and incidents to Capri IT Security Leadership
  • Defines, documents, and maintains security and emergency policies, procedures, and tests
  • Responsible for performing routine security checks and coordinating with IT department to integrate and consolidate security measures within existing infrastructure
  • Manages and monitors security for more than one IT functional area (e.g.: data, systems, network and/or Web) across the enterprise
  • Responsible for the management and operations of IT Security software and tools. (e.g.: SEIM, EDR, & NDR)
  • Lead and coordinate Vulnerability Management activities, reporting on progress and risks to IT leadership
  • Assists in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures (e.g.: user log-on and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures and use of firewalls and encryption routines)
  • Prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures
  • Responsible for the tracking, monitoring and remediation of potential security risks, including viruses, vulnerabilities and threat advisories
  • Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions, updates, and maintains and documents and security controls
  • Participate in compliance activities supporting audits for regulatory standards including SOX, PCI, and GDPR various and other types of Exercises (e.g.: tabletop, walkthroughs etc)
  • Provides direct support to the business and IT staff for security related issues
  • Educates IT and the business about security policies and consults on security issues

You’ll Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Applied experience with security controls and incident management
  • Experience in managing or overseeing a Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • Experienced in security administration, projects and complicated security issues
  • 5 to 7 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design, and administration
  • Knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms.
  • Knowledge of both server and networking infrastructure

We’d Like to See:

  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA
  • Practical experience with threat detection, monitoring and incident response and implementation
  • Experience with the management of security related technologies. (e.g.: LogRhythm, Splunk, Darktrace, ExtraHop, Crowdstrike, SentinalOne…)
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas
  • Excellent time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects at any given time
  • Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions
  • Innovative thinking and visionary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
