Our IT Center EMEA counts 3 departments: IT Planning (PLAN), IT Development (BUILD) and IT Infrastructure (RUN). Within our IT Development department, we can distinguish 2 competence centres: Madrid and Ostend. You will be part of IT Development in Madrid. The IT Development department in Madrid consists of 50 people (internal & external) and an offshore team. The group is young and dynamic with a good team spirit and open communication structure. We implement innovative IT solutions for our 7500+ Daikin colleagues all over Europe & Middle East.

We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Analyst specialized in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) and Authorizations.

Which are the main functions/responsibilities of the role?

We are searching for a professional responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's SAP GRC solutions and user authorization processes. This role involves the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP GRC modules, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. The IT Analyst will work closely with business units, IT teams, and auditors to design, implement, and manage access controls that safeguard the organization's critical assets while enabling efficient operations.

The IT analyst will have the following key responsibilities:

• SAP GRC Administration:
  • Administer and maintain SAP GRC modules, including: Access Control(Access Risk Management, Access request management, Emergency Access Management, UAR) 
  • BRF+ knowledge
  • Configure SAP GRC to monitor and enforce compliance with segregation of duties (SoD) and access control policies.
  • Regularly review and update SAP GRC rulesets and configurations to align with evolving regulatory and business requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports from SAP GRC.
• Authorization Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage role-based access controls  within the SAP environment.
  • Perform user provisioning and deprovisioning, ensuring appropriate access levels are granted based on job roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of user access rights to ensure compliance with the principle of least privilege.
  • Address and resolve authorization-related incidents and issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Conduct risk assessments related to SAP authorizations and access controls, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve the organization’s security posture.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to remediate identified risks and improve authorization processes.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP GRC and authorization processes.
  • Implement best practices for SAP GRC and authorization management, ensuring they align with organizational goals.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in SAP GRC and authorization technologies, applying new features and updates as needed.
• Training and Support:
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SAP GRC and authorization processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SAP GRC configurations, authorization procedures, and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for authorization-related queries and support requests.

Which profile are we searching for? (education, background, specific knowledge required and experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in SAP GRC (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) are highly desirable.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance, and SAP authorization management.
• Proven experience with SAP GRC modules, particularly Access Control and Risk Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP security, roles, and authorizations.
