IAM Specialist

As an IAM Specialist (m/f/d), you will be at the forefront of developing, optimizing, and maintaining our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Your role is essential in ensuring secure, efficient, and smooth identity management processes within the organization.

Your main technical responsibilities include:

• Full technical implementation and configuration of IAM platforms (e.g., OneIdentity, Active Directory, SailPoint, Okta, ClearSkye, ServiceNow IAM, etc.)

• Design, customization, and technical optimization of IAM functionalities and workflows

• Development of customized technical solutions tailored to business needs

• Collaborating with stakeholders to conduct technical requirements analysis

• Advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution (2nd- and 3rd-level support)

• Creation and maintenance of technical system documentation and user manuals

• Automation and scripting for operational efficiency (e.g., onboarding, role assignments, data synchronization)

• Training and support for end users and administrators

Focus on the following technical modules and topics (optional):

• Identity Lifecycle Management: Automating user lifecycle processes and integrating with other business tools

• Access Governance: Designing, implementing, and customizing access policies and role-based access control (RBAC)

• Access Reviews: Configuring access review campaigns and technical workflows for user access reviews

• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Establishing role-based access control and developing entitlement models

• Integration & API Development: Connecting IAM with third-party applications using APIs, web services, and automation tools

Requirements

You bring with you:

• A degree in computer science, information security, business informatics, or a comparable technical qualification

• Several years of technical experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting IAM solutions (e.g., OneIdentity, Active Directory, SailPoint, Okta, ClearSkye, ServiceNow IAM, etc.)

• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, such as Identity Lifecycle, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Access Governance

• Proficiency in access control frameworks (e.g., RBAC, ABAC) and authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs for system integration and development of connectors

• Technical expertise in process consulting and process optimization for IAM solutions

• Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, and an independent working style

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
