HOW PROJECT MANAGER/INTEGRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Provide project management support to the customer's Cyber Policy & Governance group in the day-to-day operations assisting in managing requirements and interacting with various senior leaders in the Office of Cyber Security (OCS).
- Develop project plans, communication plans, project schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Provide status of projects, requirements, plans, and schedules according to customer directions.
- Advise on programmatic risk to cost, schedule, and scope.
- Coordinate, support, facilitate, and participate in Cyber Defense Boards and Council meetings to include: schedule meetings; develop meeting agendas and review briefing materials; notify meeting attendees; schedule conference rooms; record and distribute meeting minutes, action items, and issues; and enter information into designated databases.
- Stay abreast of Sponsor's directives, regulations, guidance, notices, and standards on cybersecurity.
- Provide planning, development, and execution of program management and communication activities in accordance with the consultation service program objectives.
- Acknowledge all new requests via email and via a new ticket created in Jira.
- Ingest new requests into a tracking system.
- Communicate government identified work to numerous teams.
- Track work progress via Jira tickets and reviewing project deliverables to provide data and analytics to government leads.
- Review deliverables for grammar, flow, and completeness.
- Communicate with team leads and senior leadership.
- Assess changes and rapidly change direction in support of new or changing requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Technical training, Certification(s), experience, and/or Degree (Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.)
- Experience: 8+ years of related experience.
- Required Qualifications -- Extensive experience in:
- Managing short-run technical projects from inception to conclusion.
- Writing and editing a variety of documentation deliverables such as manuals, briefings, newsletters, white papers, or reports intended for diverse audiences (technical, executive, or non-technical).
- Managing and communicating with programs requiring security mitigation strategies.
- Using and managing Jira and SharePoint for documentation management and collaboration.
- Desired Qualifications -- Experience in:
- Supporting and managing programs in customer's Enterprise IT environment.
- Understanding customer's enterprise technologies, processes, and security practices.
- Creating, modifying, and applying Microsoft templates and styles to establish documentation consistency.
- Graphic design and/or desktop publishing.
- Drafting executive-level briefs on cyber security mitigation techniques, program milestones, schedules, and/strategic initiatives.
- Desired certifications: CISSP, CASP, AWS, and/or PMP
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph
- Location: Herndon, VA - Customer Site
