Job Purpose:
The Senior IT Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of all endpoint devices within the organization. This includes:
Evaluating, selecting, designing, and configuring security infrastructure systems in a global environment.
The role involves supporting and conducting internal audits, mitigating findings, and implementing improvement measures. The engineer will work closely with various departments to integrate, monitor, and improve information security controls by understanding business processes.
Principal Accountabilities:
Work Management
Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of endpoint devices to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for endpoint security.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
Provide technical expertise and support for incident response and investigations related to endpoint security.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions to continuously improve the organization's endpoint security posture.
Train and mentor junior security engineers and other IT staff on endpoint security best practices.
Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on endpoint security.
Strong knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, encryption, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
Proven track record of designing and implementing endpoint security solutions in a large organization.
Experience in conducting security assessments and audits and implementing remediation measures.
Hands-on experience with incident response and investigations related to endpoint security.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Experience in training and mentoring junior security engineers and other IT staff.
Successful collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business processes
Proven experience and handling of malware (reversing) or virology.
