Product Owner for Cloud Security

Are you passionate about cloud technologies and ready to shape the future of data protection? We're looking for a motivated Product Owner to join our team and lead the way in cloud data classification and security. 

As a Product Owner, you'll drive the strategic growth of our security solutions for Microsoft 365 and expand them to further cloud platforms like Google Workspace. You’ll take the lead in identifying market opportunities, creating security solutions for customer workflows, and expanding the capabilities of our world-class Safetica data classification technology. 

Do you know your way around cloud technologies but have no prior product management experience? We value your potential and eagerness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for Cloud Software Engineers, Cloud Implementation Specialists, Cloud Infrastructure Experts or Cloud Business Analysts to transition their career into the product management field. We also welcome seasoned product managers interested in cloud platforms or the area of data classification. 

Your responsibilities 

• Participate in Product Development: Since our teams work in scrum, you will help coordinate sprints and product releases, participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives), assist with managing product backlogs, and prioritize the team's work based on business value and technical constraints. 

• Drive Product Strategy and Innovation: You will own the product vision for our cloud security solutions, starting with Microsoft 365, expanding to Google Workspace and other cloud platforms.  

• Own Customer Relationships and Market Understanding: You will maintain relationships with key customers, conduct user research, gather insights into their security needs, and translate these into actionable product requirements. You'll also identify market opportunities and analyze competition. 

• Collaborate with Developers and Company Stakeholders: You will act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, work closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of features, engage with sales and marketing teams to align product capabilities with market messaging, and participate in cross-functional team meetings to ensure all perspectives are considered. 

• Learn and Adapt: We strive for continuous improvement, we experiment, reevaluate processes and adapt our work as needed. We're open to new ideas and both your experience and insights can be incorporated into the way our development and product teams work. 

Requirements

What are we looking for? 

• A strong foundation in cloud technologies – either Microsoft 365 cloud ecosystem OR other major cloud platforms (Google Workspace, AWS), with interest in cloud security. 

• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams and drive execution across different workstreams while maintaining product consistency and vision. 

• Proven experience in long-term product ownership, demonstrating the ability to systematically grow and mature a product, from strategic vision to day-to-day improvements and feature expansion. 

• Comfortable with engaging with customers, and capable of understanding and articulating product value propositions. 

• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality when addressing diverse audiences, including technical teams and executives. 

• Proactive, takes initiative, anticipates issues, seeks new responsibilities, and addresses problems independently.
