Technical Lead Information Security Engineer

This role is to perform application penetration tests on existing & new web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high quality web application pen tests while meeting project deadlines.
• Validate security tool output, find vulnerabilities the tools can't, and create proof of concepts of various vulnerabilities to demonstrate them to stakeholders.
• Research new tools and techniques to constantly improve the pen test process.
• Generate high quality reports and be able to present them to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working with application developers to help them understand various vulnerabilities, the impact of the vulnerabilities, and high-level recommendations on how to fix the vulnerability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in penetration testing
• Good understanding of web applications, the pen test process, and pen testing tools
• Fundamental understanding of security knowledge around native applications, web applications, distributed and database systems. (Understanding of Web Services is a plus)
• Deep and broad understanding of security vulnerabilities and attacks
• Be able to understand and communicate what the vulnerability is, what impact it has on the organization, and what the recommend fix is.
• High enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment
• Ability to work within a global organization.
• Have a deep desire to work collaboratively.
