Position Summary
Provide subject matter expertise to lead Identity and Access Management (IAM) Strategy with a specific focus on optimizing and automating Periodic Access Reviews (PAR) for CVS Health’s Digital, Data, Analytics & Technology (DDAT) Cybersecurity Risk Management team. This role requires deep understanding of IAM principles, SailPoint experience, and the ability to design and implement efficient, automated access governance solutions. Spearhead initiatives to enhance compliance, streamline PAR processes, and reduce manual efforts across the organization.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide IAM strategy focused on automating and optimizing PAR processes. Align IAM strategies with regulatory requirements, audit objectives, and business needs to ensure ongoing compliance and risk reduction.
- Lead deployment and optimization of SailPoint for automating access reviews. Configure certification campaigns, workflows, and policies within SailPoint to streamline periodic access reviews and ensure Audit readiness. Integrate SailPoint with Workday, Active Directory, Cloud platforms, and other critical enterprise applications for seamless access management.
Identify inefficiencies in current PAR processs and design automation workflows to eliminate manual tasks. Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and policies for effective access provisioning and deprovisioning. Build user-friendly reporting and dashboards for tracking status and results of PARs.
- Establish and enforce access review policies in line with frameworks like SOX, GDPR, HIPPA, and ISO 27001. Drive initiatives to improve accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of access certifications. Implement and monitor segregation of duties controls to mitigate risks related to inappropriate access.
- Partner with IT, HR, Audit, and IAM leaders & business units to ensure IAM solutions meet organizational needs. Communicate progress, risks, and results of PAR initiatives to execute for leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Identity Access Management (IAM) roles.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or equivalent IAM platforms.
- Proven experience in managing and automating access review processes, including PARs and access certifications.
- In-depth understanding of IAM concepts, including RBAC, segregation of duties, provisioning, and governance.
- Strong technical and functional expertise with SailPoint or equivalent platforms, including campaign design and workflow automation.
- Experience integrating IAM tolls with enterprise systems such as Workday and Active Directory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex regulations, operational data, trends, assess risks effectively, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, build relationships with key stakeholders, and influence others to achieve compliance objectives.
- Managing work efforts with both internal and external partners in a highly collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of IAM principles including RBAC, ABAC, lifecycle management, and segregation of duties.
- Access provisioning and deprovisioning worklfows, access certifications, and governance processes.
- SailPoint integrations with enterprise systems i.e. Workday, SAP, Active Directory, AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Implementing IAM solutions that meet audit and compliance requirements
- Information Security technologies, frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Regulatory standards including SOX, NIST, SOC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and HITRUST
- Experience identifying cybersecurity risks
- Certifications including CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP are also preferred.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
