The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Cybersecurity Project Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Providing leadership and direction to project teams, overseeing project execution ensuring deliverables are met per cost, schedule and scope commitments, proactively handling escalations as necessary to ensure project goals are accomplished and are in line with business objectives.
- Continuously and proactively evaluating assigned projects for risks and issues as well as cross-project interdependencies, both within their native portfolio as well as across the enterprise. Providing leadership and guidance for effective mitigation strategies and plans, resolving conflicts and providing escalation support when necessary.
- Maintaining regular interactions with the executive sponsor and stakeholders to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the project outcome. This includes providing regular status reports in various formats and forums ensuring full transparency of project status and health.
- Leading the development of the overall approach for projects, their major time frames and the definition of their major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes. This includes establishing appropriate governance functions in accordance with enterprise policies and practices, and on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner.
- Maintaining responsibility for controlling project costs, maintaining an accurate forecast and regularly reporting variance against budget.
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, work plans, and project deliverables and ensure adherence to enterprise PMO methodologies, processes and tools.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field AND 6 Program management experience required.
OR
- Highschool Diploma/GED with minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field Ability to deal with a complex business model in a global environment
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
- A high degree of political sensitivity, astuteness and the ability to use the informal power structure of the organization to achieve program success and overcome obstacles.
- A high level of empathy and the ability to vary styles of interaction to match the needs of a variety of temperaments and personalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and “sell” the program goals and objectives to the business, as well as technical leadership.
- Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
