#LifeAtPFPT as a Middle Enterprise Account Executive 

Unlike other SaaS technology products, cybersecurity has become a necessary requirement for companies to safely operate. For that reason, selling our products is a unique and exciting experience. Our winning selling model puts our products in the driver’s seat while you highlight their innovative capabilities through demos and live walk throughs. Be prepared to “wow” customers during proof of concept presentations – a point in the process our Account Executives enjoy most. 

An experienced salesperson who is passionate about “the chase” will thrive in this position at Proofpoint, as the ramp up time can be longer as you establish pipeline and build trust with decision makers like CISOs and other company stakeholders. However, once you build your foundation, the opportunities to sell will skyrocket. 

At Proofpoint, protection starts with people, and we know investing in our employees from Day 1 is key to our success. As a new member of our team, you’ll participate in our second to none sales training program designed to educate you on every aspect of our product suite and enable you to achieve your quota. The support doesn’t end once you’ve completed training; the Channel, SE, Sales Enablement, Marketing Strategic Operations teams will be by your side, ready to partner with you and make deals happen. In addition, you’ll have access to valuable tools and systems such as Salesforce, Outreach, MEDDIC and Seismic.

Requirements 

  • This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days in the Sunnyvale office
  • 1+ years full lifecycle sales experience generating net new business
  • Proven experience selling a complex multi-product architecture to Fortune 1000 organizations, selling into C-level Executives to Evaluator-level Engineers.
  • Experience managing an entire sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations in an individually focused, quota-carrying role.
  • Minimum 1 years Cold Calling experience
  • Experience working with channel partners a plus.
