MEET THE TEAM:


SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance’s mission is to manage security and compliance risks for SAP. Office of the Chief Security Officer (CSO) team is responsible to give strong support to SAP’s CSO, to integrate security processes, owning SAP’s securitysolution portfolio and drives cross Security Initiative across SAP. The Security Product Management plays a crucial part in shaping the security solution strategy on a global scale as well as works closely with our customers, partners, and development units to ensure effective collaboration (roll in / roll out).

 


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


• Develop a structured and robust methodology for performing market and competitor research specific to cybersecurity.
• Conduct a comprehensive competitor analysis, taking into account external analyst assessment points such as Gartner's Magic Quadrant, with a focus on identifying cybersecurity needs, offerings and gaps.
• Maintain regular updates on market trends, emerging threats, and industry changes relevant to cybersecurity.
• Create in-depth comparative reports highlighting differences and advantages in competing cybersecurity solutions/services.
• Identify profiles of key personas that interact with or are impacted by our security solutions, both internally and externally (e.g., manager, engineer, and compliance persona)
• Identify/derive user journeys for each persona to understand their interactions with our security solutions and identify pain points, needs, and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage in periodic benchmarking activities to provide insights several times a year.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings to inform strategic decision-making.
• Utilize visualization tools and MS PowerPoint to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cybersecurity strategies with market demand.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of competitor offerings, market positions, and emerging trends.
• Identify strategic opportunities and threats within the cybersecurity market.
• Prepare detailed documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Assist in forecasting market changes and developing strategies to leverage market opportunities.
• Work within an Agile framework, utilizing tools such as JIRA and participating in Scrum ceremonies to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

 


WHAT YOU BRING:


• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive SAP experience.
• Extensive and proven expertise in cybersecurity market analysis or a similar role.
• Proven experience with competitor analysis, market research, and benchmarking in the cybersecurity sector.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team (team player).
• Solid experience with market research tools and techniques.
• Really strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and extract actionable insights.
• Expertise in data visualization tools and advanced PowerPoint skills for effective presentation of findings.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English (German language skills are a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
