OVERVIEW:
In this role, the candidate will join the Company with 3-5 years of tangential or direct information security experience, with an IT background, and a strong passion for the cybersecurity field. Responsibilities include engineering design, analysis, and support of security technologies focused on bot mitigation to help assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets in support of the athlete experience. The role will support the business by working alongside other teammates to protect the Company, learning and using technologies to help detect and mitigate undesirable bot traffic. In addition to strong technical skills, the candidate is expected to develop security technology documentation for both internal use and consumption by the larger Technology team
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and implements strategies to detect and mitigate undesirable bot traffic. Monitors and analyzes bot activity to identify patterns and emerging threats. Designs and maintains bot mitigation solutions. Partners with product teams to provide guidance regarding the development and deployment of digital assets, focusing on the impact to bot mitigation measures. Continuously improving security toolsets and advancing their use.
Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards. Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
Learning and taking ownership of Cybersecurity tools and processes
Experience with WAF and bot mitigation is highly preferred
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, management information systems, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in web application security, network security, bot mitigation detection and prevention
Security+ (preferred not required)
CIH (preferred not required)
Required: working knowledge of modern application architectures, bot characteristics, and emerging threats
Required: understanding of bot mitigation techniques, such as the use of CAPTCHAs, and rate limiting
Required: experience with web application firewalls (WAFs) and/or bot mitigation solutions
Nice to have: contributions to the technology community
Nice to have: experience behavioral analysis and/or AI/ML
Nice to have: scripting capability in one or more languages (PowerShell, bash, Python, etc.)

Targeted Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $109,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
