IAM Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer on Auto Club Enterprise’s (ACE) Identity team, you will design, build, and manage identity infrastructure and tooling. You will make it easier and more secure to implement identity governance and access management for ACE. As part of ACE’s Information System’s organization, you will work closely with Security Engineers to research, implement and scale innovative solutions to help ACE stay ahead of a dynamic threat landscape.
The Identity team consists of DevOps Engineers who are passionate about reducing risk, friction and eliminating toil. The team’s primary focus is the management of identity platforms for corporate infrastructure. Your work will directly impact and improve the resilience of mission critical infrastructure that enables and empowers a globally distributed workforce.
Notes:
- The position will be a remote opportunity, but you must live within 50 miles of our Coppell, TX location or be willing to relocate within the area.
- You will be expected to come into the Coppell, TX office two (2) Thursdays of each month for Collaboration Days and as needed for technical issues.
- Depending on the severity of the technical issue, you are expected to be into the office within 90 minutes to two hours of notice.
What You’ll Do
- Every day you will continue to work on your sprint, which will be some stage of conceptualizing, designing, testing, and implementing a new system.
- You’ll also work to manage and maintain the existing infrastructure systems, security, and automation to keep these processes working properly.
- You’ll also maintain and design solutions for our security needs using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and CyberArk.
- Working almost entirely remotely, you’ll use Azure, AWS, active directory, networking, PowerShell scripting, DNS, PKI, MFA, CyberArk, Ansible other tools to accomplish this work.
What You’ll Need
- Experience in working with a large complex technology organization, defining key access control challenges, and driving a program to systematically resolve high risk issues.
- Working experience on LDAP, SAML, OAuth Authorization and Active Directory.
- Experience should include designing and developing provisioning flows for Role Based Access Control (RBAC) entitlements, implementing role resolution, role mining and role administration.
- Working experience scripting in Python, Jenkins, and PowerShell.
- 3+ years of Information Technology experience in engineering, configuring, and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Effective communication with Customers/ peers.
- Experience automating deployments with configuration management systems (e.g., Ansible).
- Experience supporting and implementing Windows Server VMs, Linux Server VMs, Knowledge building High Availability, Scalable and Fault Tolerant Systems.
- Experience supporting and implementing load balancing solutions and technologies (F5 LTM and GTM) for high-availability, high-demand environments.
