About the Role

As an IT Security Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for guiding TRSS through a variety of compliance questionnaires and audits to ensure that we can maintain the security standards that our customers require. You will identify compliance gaps, use tools to automate compliance workflows, and be the technical contact for IT security and compliance related questions.

• Communicate with security stakeholders including external auditors, internal employees, and government agency contacts

• Complete IT security compliance questionnaire documents from a variety of government and commercial clients

• Lead audit meetings by communicating clearly and effectively while providing evidence of security control implementation(s)

• Maintain documentation including internal IT policies and procedures, periodic security reviews, technology profiles, and other documents

• Identify compliance gaps and future risks to recurring compliance initiatives

About You

You’re a good fit for the role of IT Security Compliance Analyst if you have:

• A well-rounded IT security background including basic knowledge of concepts such as authentication, authorization, availability, and encryption

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC2 Type II, CMMC, ISO-9001, FedRAMP, financial institutional compliance, and/or others.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance

• U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook)

• Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or others

• Minimum of three years IT-related experience

• Bachelor’s degree (equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)

(You may be an even better fit if you have any experience with):

SIEMs or centralized logging tools (such as Splunk)

• Additional security-related certifications or training

• Cloud collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Jira, Asana

• AWS and/or Azure cloud services

• Scripting or automation tooling (Python, bash, PowerShell, Power Automate, integration APIs)

• Source control systems such as GitHub

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $81,600 - $151,600. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
