Peraton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Warfare Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting electronic warfare (EW) operations in aviation missions. The EWO will leverage advanced electronic warfare systems and tactics to detect, disrupt, deceive, or deny enemy electronic capabilities, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of flight operations. This position demands a strong understanding of EW technologies, military aviation systems, and the ability to work in a high-stakes, fast-paced operational environment.
Examples of duties include but not limited to:
- Lead and execute electronic warfare missions during aviation operations, including the employment of various electronic warfare technologies.
- Provide real-time electronic warfare support to aviation crews by identifying electronic threats that may impact mission success or flight safety.
- Operate and manage advanced EW systems onboard aircraft, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during operations.
- Collaborate with mission planners, intelligence teams, and aircrew to integrate electronic warfare considerations into mission planning. Ensure EW strategies are aligned with operational objectives and provide real-time adjustments as necessary during missions.
- Continuously monitor the electromagnetic spectrum for enemy threats and provide tactical recommendations based on real-time EW intelligence. Use threat analysis tools and electronic support measures (ESM) to detect and characterize potential adversary systems.
- Coordinate with air traffic control, intelligence, and other aviation teams to ensure safe air operations while conducting electronic warfare, particularly in complex or contested environments.
- Participate in post-mission debriefs to assess the effectiveness of electronic warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures. Provide feedback on system performance and contribute to lessons learned for future operations.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Military Science, or a related field, or equivalent military training and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronic warfare operations, particularly within the aviation or defense sectors.
- Familiarity with threat detection and analysis tools, including Electronic Support Measures (ESM), Electronic Attack (EA) capabilities, and associated systems.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic warfare systems, including radar jamming, signal intercept, and countermeasure systems used in aviation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations.
- Certification or formal training in Electronic Warfare (e.g., U.S. military EWO qualification or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with military operations and protocols.
Experience and Education:
- Prior customer experience
- TS/SCI with POLY
- 10 years in Electronic Warfare Operations

Target Salary Range
