Job Description

This role will support The Cyber Systems Engineering Division (AFLCMC/EZC) located at Hanscom AFB in providing state-of-the-art technical support for the acquisition of cloud Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) boundary systems within United States Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). 

The successful candidate will:

• Develop Assurance & Assessment (A&A) recommendations
• Perform IA testing of security requirements and controls 
• Develop recommended plans for programs of record to establish roadmaps to implement security activities IAW the implementation of the RMF and DoDI 8510.01. 
• Review developed documentation (e.g., SSPs, CS strategy, IAPs, and CM plans), and make recommendations to the SCA to facilitate IA RMF analysis.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research. May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• TS/SCI clearance
• Security+ (SC) certification

 

Preferred Requirements

Additional certifications such as CompTIA Cybersecurity or Cisco CCNA.

Physical Requirements

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of a Systems Analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.
