Job Description

The HII Integrated Warfare team is looking for a  Quality Assurance Engineer to support our work with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Cyber Division. This position can be located at either Hanscom Air Force Base or Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

This role will support The Cyber Systems Engineering Division (AFLCMC/EZC)  in providing state-of-the-art technical support for the acquisition of cloud Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) boundary systems within United States Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC).

Essential Job Responsibilities

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Collaborates with engineering laboratory and production functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess control and manage risks of product quality and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications. Audits quality systems for development acceptance criteria (parameters based on product result). May undertake root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action. Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality methodologies and utilize quality tools to help drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • At a minimum, two years’ experience with eMASS and one year’s experience as a system administrator assigning permissions, removing accounts, and tracking workflow results within eMASS.
  • At a minimum, have one year’s experience in documenting procedures and communicating instructions to cyber community.

  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Keen attention to detail and organization skills

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
