SENIOR IAM ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. SailPoint Engineer to join our Information Security Department. This role is pivotal in delivering strategic identity security solutions that enhance the security posture of Montefiore Einstein. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of SailPoint solutions, while playing a key role in building a scalable identity security program across the organization. You will need to design solutions that address Identity requirements with a focus on Security and Compliance.
 
As a senior member of our team, you will collaborate closely with Operations, Governance, and Engineering teams to ensure the secure development, deployment, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) services. You’ll lead efforts to drive innovation, establish best practices, and influence future architecture, while being deeply involved in the hands-on development of solutions.

Responsibilities include:

•    Design, develop, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions to meet business requirements.
•    Integrate SailPoint with various systems and applications, including WorkDay, Azure Active Directory & AD, ServiceNow, Epic and other enterprise platforms.
•    Develop and maintain workflows, rules, and custom connectors within SailPoint.
•    Perform regular updates and maintenance of the SailPoint platform, ensuring optimal performance and security.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity and access management.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support identity lifecycle management and privileged access management.
•    Provide subject matter expertise on SailPoint best practices and industry standards.
•    Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.
•    Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
•    Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members.

Required experience includes:

•    Experience in identity management and security, with a focus on SailPoint or similar products.
•    Proven track record of architecting and implementing SailPoint solutions in complex environments
•    Strong knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow, including configuration and customization
•    Ability to integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications and systems (e.g., WorkDay, ServiceNow, Epic, Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems, cloud applications)
•    SailPoint Certification Requirement: SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer/architect certification, demonstrating a high level of expertise and proficiency in the SailPoint IdentityNow platform
•    SailPoint System Administration Expertise: Three years of hands-on system administration experience with SailPoint, including the integration and configuration with Active Directory, AWS, Azure/Entra, Okta, etc. systems within an enterprise
•    This experience is crucial for ensuring seamless identity management and security across the organization
•    Depending on the work environment, the subject matter expert may lead or be an active participant of a work-group with the need for specialized knowledge
•    Bachelor’s or equivalent experience.

Strongly preferred:

•    CISM or CISSP certification
