TITLE: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager 

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager at Duck Creek Technologies is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of IAM systems for both workforce and customer environments. This role plays a crucial part in the evolution of the IAM program, applying advanced IAM best practices, technologies, and security frameworks to mitigate risks associated with unauthorized access and data loss. The IAM Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, security architects, and external IAM. This is an individual contributor position. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

  • Design, develop, implement, and integrate IAM solutions for both workforce and customer environments to ensure the security and efficiency of identity management processes. 

  • Ensure IAM solutions meet organizational security goals, safeguarding against unauthorized access, data breaches, and misuse by identifying and resolving system vulnerabilities. 

  • Provide ongoing post-implementation support, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including evening, weekend, and on-call support as needed. 

  • Develop and maintain core IAM security capabilities, technologies, and systems to protect identity data across a global, cloud-based environment. 

  • Lead the integration of IAM solutions with existing enterprise systems, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with organizational goals. 

  • Utilize hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure B2C, and other IAM technologies to implement and support IAM security. 

  • Manage IAM environments in both cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance. 

  • Stay informed about evolving IAM threats and industry best practices, adapting security strategies to proactively address emerging risks. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Enterprise and Security Architecture, to ensure IAM solutions are aligned with the company’s overall security strategy and compliance standards. 

  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives for IAM provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews. 

  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the effective integration and ongoing management of IAM tools like SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, and CyberArk. 

  • Define and maintain system documentation and protocols, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the management of IAM solutions. 

 

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:    

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Information Security, Computer Science and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management, with a strong background in enterprise-level IAM governance platforms. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND BEHAVIORS: 

  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing IAM systems using Microsoft Azure, Azure B2C, O365, and cloud infrastructures. 

  • Experience with IAM concepts, including directory services, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and access re-certification. 

  • Strong knowledge of IAM principles, including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), access control models, and security protocols. 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, CyberArk, and Saviynt. 

  • Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JSON) for automation and integration. 

  • In-depth knowledge of MFA, SSO, and directory services implementations. 

  • Expert understanding of SCIM protocol and API integrations for identity management. 

  • Proficient in navigating the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to implement IAM solutions effectively. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to address complex IAM-related issues. 

  • Proven ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives in identity management. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document IAM solutions clearly and present results to stakeholders. 

  • Experience in integrating IAM solutions with third-party applications and cloud-based services. 

  • Strong collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams, including security architects, enterprise architects, and external vendors. 

  • Thorough understanding of IAM compliance standards and best practices in a global, cloud-based environment. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing operational priorities and delivering tactical results. 

  • Experience with IAM integrations involving critical third-party applications for entitlement reviews and provisioning. 

  • Ability to translate functional plans into actionable processes and guide the execution of IAM initiatives with a focus on achieving business goals.

Travel: 0-10% 

Location: Remote Poland
