Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Network Security:
- Design and implement security measures for networks to prevent unauthorized access, attacks, or other threats (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems).
- Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity.
- System Security:
- Configure and maintain operating system security settings and applications to prevent security breaches.
- Ensure that systems are updated with the latest security patches and updates.
- Regularly conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and networks.
- Work with teams to prioritize, remediate, and report on discovered vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and manage security breaches or incidents, performing root cause analysis and applying lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize the impact of security breaches.
- Security Tools and Technology Management:
- Implement and manage security tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, encryption tools, and antivirus software.
- Ensure that security systems are integrated with organizational systems and that they function efficiently.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the organization complies with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Conduct risk assessments and help develop strategies to mitigate security risks.
- Security Policy and Documentation:
- Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Ensure that security documentation is up to date and accurate for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Security Awareness and Training:
- Conduct training for employees to raise awareness about security best practices, phishing attacks, and other social engineering tactics.
- Promote security-conscious behavior throughout the organization.
- Cloud Security:
- If the organization uses cloud services, ensure the security of cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
- Implement cloud-specific security measures such as encryption, access control, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Data Security:
- Implement encryption and other measures to protect sensitive data both at rest and in transit.
- Monitor and enforce data access controls to ensure only authorized users can access confidential information.
Requirements
Candidates must have 10+ years in Control System.Driving license and a vehicle is an added advantage
