Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the execution and tracking of scheduled deliverables and service requests, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet performance standards.
• Manage enterprise systems and operational engineering activities, including system design, testing, deployment, and lifecycle sustainment.
• Lead Change, Configuration, and Release Management (CCRM) processes, ensuring patches, updates, and fixes are tested and deployed effectively.
• Monitor and manage Tier III incident queues, ensuring incidents are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and documented accurately.
• Perform root-cause analysis for system issues, develop corrective actions, and deliver After-Action Reports (AARs) for significant outages.
• Maintain enterprise system documentation, including technical procedures, system baselines, and security compliance records.
• Oversee vulnerability management efforts, ensuring timely remediation of security risks, STIG updates, and compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Track and report operational performance metrics, including system health, incident resolution trends, and risk mitigation progress.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to operational teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess operational needs, implement emerging technologies, and enhance system performance.
• Support integration and migration of systems into virtualized, containerized, and cloud-based environments.
• Develop and deliver technical training materials for teams to ensure knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
• Prepare and present operational status updates, performance reports, and compliance metrics to leadership and key stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Secret clearance with SSBI
• Active ITILv4 certification
• Active Security+, CySA, CISSP or CISM certification
• Minimum of 12+ years of related IT experience
• Bachelors degree in a related field
