Role Profile

Lead a team within the IAM function. Ensuring that core IAM & Security Admin processes/controls are operated in line with agreed SLA’s, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the IAM Security Admin process delivery function ensuring that services are delivered to required SLA’s whilst maintaining levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Leads a team of Security specialists across Sri Lanka and Bangalore!
  • Daily monitoring of tasks, facilitate Stand-up meetings, follow up on requests and incidents and meeting SLA's in delivery
  • Producing and communicating materials and appropriate messaging for internal and external collaborators within a regulated environment.
  • Remain current with principles, concepts and emerging changes to the IAM landscape.
  • Lead third parties in their deliveries related to the domain area.

Leadership responsibilities

This role will lead a distributed team of security specialist delivering IAM services across LSEG businesses. The team will have approx. 6 members. The role holder will be part of the IAM Delivery & Operations team and be reporting directly to the IAM Ops & Delivery Senior Manager.

Operating IAM processes and controls with appropriate reporting and artefacts.

Impact

This role is key in ensuring that Cyber Security deliver the appropriate IAM processes and controls to enable the business to achieve the required security posture in its regulated Financial Services environment.

Key KPIs

Joiners, Movers and Leavers processes are implemented as per company standards.

Maintaining integrity and security of critical applications led by the Sec Admin function - monitoring requests and issues daily

Weekly KPI reports delivered showing IAM control process compliance.

Technical / Job Functional Knowledge

5+ years of increasing responsibility in IAM or information security roles.

Demonstrates an understanding of IAM principles and how they are embedded into core business processes.

Demonstrates an understanding of how Starters, Leavers Amendments & Movers (SLAM), Access Recertification, Privileged Access Management and other Identity Access Management processes deliver the ability to secure the companies data and services.

Business and Sector Expertise

Preferred prior experience in the financial services and / or technology sector.

Leadership and management experience

  • This is a people manager role and previous experience of people management is required.
  • Experience in developing teams in a globally distributed organisation.
  • Leading third party contingent resources against agreed deliveries.
  • Must have a collaborative work style ensuring that collaborators are engaged in decision making processes.
  • Highly adaptable and able to approach challenges differently in order to achieve goals.

  • Must have the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment with minimal supervision, providing direction to teams reporting into the IAM Senior Manager
