About the Role
Join the Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Manager Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). As the GRC manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our organization’s compliance and governance posture. You will work closely with various teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards while contributing to the implementation of risk management strategies.
What You’ll Do
Develop and implement governance, risk management, and compliance policies and procedures aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives, adapting to legislative changes.
Oversee ongoing risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are in place, maintaining an updated risk register and tracking remediation efforts.
Coordinate compliance with applicable laws and regulations by integrating GRC practices across the organization’s operations and ensuring collaboration with other departments.
Lead a team of GRC professionals, providing guidance and support for professional development and promoting a culture focused on ethics and proactive risk management.
Conduct compliance analyses, security controls, and manage the compliance of third-party service providers.
Contribute to the development of performance metrics and key indicators for review by the Director of Technology and Security and senior management.
Review and test governance plans, including business continuity plans, incident response plans, and disaster recovery plans.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on governance, risk, and compliance issues, and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring follow-up on recommendations.
What You Need
University degree in technology, information security, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 3 years of team management experience and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in information security.
Recognized certification in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC, is an asset.
Strong knowledge of standards, regulations, and laws related to information security (NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, COBIT5) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical skills and a pragmatic approach to address issues and solve IT security problems.
Strong leadership skills to foster collaboration within the team.
Mentorship and coaching skills to support team development.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple and changing objectives.
Highly motivated, autonomous, and detail oriented.
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Diplomacy and ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
Aptitude to challenge the status quo constructively.
Client-oriented approach to meet business needs.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
