Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):Spry Methods is on the search for a Cybersecurity Analyst (SME) to join our team in the National Capital Region.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):

  • Responsible for monitoring computer networks for security issues.   Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
  • Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause. 
  • Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities, such as penetration testing. 
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.  Recommend best practices for IT security. 
  • Installing security measures and operating software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. 
  • Individuals will be the primary Cybersecurity Analyst working with additional senior and Jr. level analysts on a rotational schedule for critical mission requirements. 
  • Must be willing to support a 24/7/365 mission. 
  • Qualified personnel will be adept at cyber incident handling and response, threat detection, cloud and on-premise forensic analysis and response, as well as intrusion detection analysis. 
  • Personnel will have one or more of the following GIAC or equivelant certifications (GMON, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA, GNFA, GCTD, GCFR)
